Speed trap in Gates NY

Just before the 65mph sign on the 490 heading west out of Rochester - easy pickins for the States' finest. Got me for speeding in a 55 mph zone there, even though the 65 mph sign was clearly in view. Guess what happened in court - yup - pleaded down to disobeying a traffic device - $155 and 2 points, along with about 150 others there that day.
Gotta love this crooked state : \
